What does
it cost to join OzRewardS?
Membership of OzRewardS is completely FREE! Simply become a
member and you can start earning cashback immediately.
I am
already a member of another rewards site, why should I join OzRewardS?
At OzRewardS our philosophy is simple – to offer our members
prompt payment and the highest possible levels of customer service. No
gimmicks, no points conversion, just straightforward cashback. Use our website
to shop on line, complete surveys or join other websites and claim your
cashback. It couldn’t be easier!
Why do I
need to become a member?
You need to become a member in order for us to track your
clicks on OzRewardS to ensure you receive the rewards you are entitled to. It is
therefore important for you to log in each time you come back to the OzRewardS
site to ensure this happens.
Who is
eligible to use OzRewardS?
You must be 13 or older to become a member of
OzRewardS.
Can other
members of my family join OzRewardS?
Of course, but we do have a maximum limit of 3 members per
household/postal address.
How does
the site work and how can you give away free cash?
Retailers advertise with us in order to gain more custom and
increase sales. Those retailers pay a commission to us for attracting new
customers to their websites. At OzRewardS, unlike other sites, we are happy to
share this commission with you, the consumer. In this way, everybody wins, us,
the advertiser and more importantly YOU!
Do I pay a
higher price for goods because I go through OzRewardS?
Of course you don’t. You will pay exactly the same price as
if you had gone directly to that particular retailer’s site. The only
difference is that you will not get the rewards YOU DESERVE if you don’t go
through OzRewardS!
How do I cancel
my membership?
Go to the ‘Update your Details’ link, click on the cancel
membership button and follow the instructions.
I live
outside of Australia – Can I still join OzRewardS?
Unfortunately not – Membership of OzRewardS is only open to
individuals resident in Australia.
I have
tried to log in, but the log in is not working – why is this?
There may be several reasons for this:-
- You
have entered an incorrect user name or password.
- Your
membership with OzRewardS has been terminated (see below)
- You
have cancelled your membership
I have not
used my account for a while – am I still a member?
As a member your account stays active for a period of 90
days. If you have not used your account for a period of 90 days or longer,
unfortunately your account with OzRewardS would have been terminated.
My
membership has been terminated – Why is this?
There may be several reasons for this:-
- You
have not used your account for a while (please see above).
- You
have contravened the OzRewardS Terms & Conditions. We recommend you
read these thoroughly before joining the site.
Members’ Personal
Information
Membership
of OzRewards requires me to divulge a certain amount of personal information –
Why do you require this information?
We require a minimal amount of personal information to
ensure the integrity of the individual member and to ensure any rewards are correctly allocated to the relevant
member.
Does
OzRewards have a privacy policy?
Most definitely YES! We take privacy of your personal information
extremely seriously. Please click on the Privacy Policy link at the bottom of
the home page for full details.
I’ve
forgotten my password! What do I do?
No worries! All you need to do is click the forgotten
password link, located just underneath the log in box. Simply enter your
username and email address and we will send you an e-mail confirming your log
in details. If you have forgotten any of these details, you will need to contact
support. Please see the website for contact information.
Can I change
my username?
No, unfortunately it isn’t possible for you to change your
username.
How can I
change my account details?
All you need to do is click on the update your details link,
which is accessible once you have logged in.
Reward Payments
When can I
claim my reward payment?
OzRewards has a minimum payout threshold of AU$25. As soon
as you have reached this threshold, you can claim your cashback.
Are there
any administration charges for claiming my cashback?
If you agree, we can
pay you via PAYPAL; OzRewardS WILL NOT CHARGE ANY ADMINISTRATION FEE.
Should you prefer to be paid by cheque, OzRewardS operate a
sliding scale of administration charges for reward claims by cheque as
follows:-
AUD$25 cheque - $1 administration fee
AUD$35 cheque - 50c administration fee
AUD$50 cheque – NO
FEE, TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE.
I would
like to be paid by Paypal, but I do not have a Paypal account – what can I do?
No problem, just go to www.paypal.com.au,
register, which is FREE OF CHARGE, then make sure when you claim your cashback,
you advise us of your PayPal e-mail address. It is worth noting that you do not
pay any fees on a personal account. Only business accounts attract any charges.
How long
will it take for me to receive my cashback?
We will normally send out cashback rewards once per week.
Therefore, if you have selected an automatic payment method (such as PayPal),
it should take less than one week for you to receive it (once the mandatory 30 day waiting period has elapsed - please refer to our terms and conditions for more information). If you have selected an
alternative payment method (such as a cheque) that needs to be sent through the
mail, please also allow an additional week.
Do I need
to alter any settings on my computer to ensure I will get my Cashback?
Probably not, but it may be worth checking the settings of your cookies. You need to ensure cookies are enabled on your
computer. For full details, please refer to the instructions regarding cookies

How will
the cashback/reward be correctly allocated to my account?
When you click on a link, the click is automatically
assigned to your account using cookies. If you have successfully completed the
required action (e.g. joined the website or made a purchase), there is nothing more
you need to do. The money will automatically be added to your account. The reward
will appear pending until it is either automatically confirmed or cancelled. It
will only appear as cancelled if you have not completed the required action
correctly or you have cancelled a transaction for goods or services.
Can I get
additional cashback for referring friends and family to OzRewardS?
YES! We will pay you $5 each time you refer any
friends or family who join OzRewardS. Just go to the referral link on
the OzRewardS website and complete the required information. More information can also be found there.
How long
will it take for the money to be credited to my account?
Normally, money will be credited (confirmed) in your account
within 14 days (this is assuming you have completed all the required steps successfully).
However, it may take up to 60 days in unusual circumstances.
What
happens if I purchase an item from a retailer, then decide to return the item
or if I join a website, then decide to cancel my membership? Will I still
receive my cashback?
Unfortunately not. You will only receive your cashback
reward if you have completed the transaction to the retailer’s satisfaction or
completed your membership application successfully.
Why do I
not have any money in my account, even though I have done everything I was
supposed to?
This is very important. There may be several reasons for
this but the most likely is you do not have cookies enabled on your computer.
It is important that you enable cookies on your OzRewardS account in order to
get cashback. Information on cookies can be found at http://scholar.google.com/cookies.html,
and, you can click here in order to test if
cookies are working correctly on your browser.
I forgot to
use a link via the OzRewardS site, or I didn’t realise they were listed on the
OzRewardS site. Can I still claim my reward money?
Unfortunately not. Before you join a website or make a
purchase on the Internet, it would be advisable to check if the retailer you
require is listed on the OzRewardS site. In this way you can guarantee you will
not miss out on getting any of your cashback.
Can I
donate my rewards to charity?
While there is no specific way on our site at present, in
which you can donate your reward money to charity, you can of course do this by
requesting a cheque for your preferred charity. This ensures your chosen
charity will be fully aware of who has made the donation.
Do I get
any bonus money if I leave money in my account?
No, we do not offer any sort of ‘interest’ on money in your
account, but with our low payout threshold of only AUD$25, you are sure to be
able to claim your money fast, and gain interest in your own bank account!
Why has the
amount of money in my account been adjusted without my knowledge?
There may be several reasons for this:-
- You
have not completed a transaction correctly.
- You
have cancelled a transaction.
- You
have returned goods you purchased.
- The
advertiser/retailer has increased/decreased the reward payment.
What
happens if you send me a cheque, made payable to the wrong person?
It is your responsibility as a member of OzRewardS to ensure
your personal details remain updated and accurate at all times. If a cheque is
issued incorrectly, because your payee details are incorrect, there will
unfortunately be an administration fee of AUD$6 to reissue a cheque to the
correct payee. Similarly, if a cheque is sent to the wrong address, because
your personal details are incorrect, a similar administration fee of AUD$6 will
apply to stop the cheque and reissue a new one.
What
happens if I don’t receive my reward cheque?
Assuming your personal information is correct (please see
above), we will cancel the first cheque and issue another.
Privacy Policy
Will you
sell or forward my personal details to any third parties?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! We take our members privacy very
seriously and under no circumstances will we ever pass on or sell your details
to a third party without your prior consent.
Will I get
spam?
We do not send spam, although you will receive our regular
newsletter. Should you not wish to receive our newsletter any more, please
delete your account. Please note that you will lose all confirmed and pending
money in your account, and any reward claims that haven’t been sent will also
be forfeited. Members should also note that each retailer’s link and website
link from our site will have different terms and conditions and privacy policy
to us. Please make sure that you review each of these separately before taking
any action on the advertiser’s site.
Do I have
to use the same email address when signing up to a retailer/advertiser on
OzRewardS?
Of course not! If you wish to use a different e-mail
address, feel free! Please just ensure the details you are submitting to a
particular advertiser are accurate and correct. Unfortunately, we will be
forced to delete any account of a member who submits false information to our
advertisers. If your account is deleted due to a fraudulent act, then you will
forfeit all unpaid earnings.
Site Information
If I have
already clicked on an advertiser’s link on the OzRewardS site, can I go directly
to that advertiser’s site at
a different time and still receive my cashback?
No, unfortunately not. It is important that for each time
you wish to make a purchase or complete a transaction with a particular
advertiser, that you do this on the OzRewardS site. Otherwise, you will not
receive your cashback. Please note, normally only shopping websites will allow
you to complete the same action more than once.
I emailed a
site linked to from OzRewardS, but they said that they have not heard of
OzRewardS! Why is this?
Some of our retailers and linked websites advertise through
an agency, and it is through that agency that the link to their site is
advertised on OzRewardS. We suggest that if you have a problem with a retailer
(e.g. you have not got your money credited) that you contact us first. We will
endeavour to resolve any problems as soon as possible.
I have a
dispute with one of the advertisers on OzRewardS – What should I do?
As stated in the OzRewardS Terms & Conditions, any
disputes with advertisers, should be taken up directly with the advertiser in
question and NOT OzRewardS.
Will I
receive e-mails from OzRewards?
You will receive regular newsletters from OzRewardS,
advising you of the latest special offers, best cashback deals and new
advertisers on the site.
How can I
stop OzRewardS from sending me e-mails?
If you wish to stop receiving e-mails from OzRewardS, simply
terminate your membership. Unfortunately, should you have any outstanding
cashback owing; this will be forfeited as per our Terms and Conditions.
